University of Florida & Miami Dade College Distance Education Program
The Microbiology & Cell Science department at the University of Florida and Miami Dade College – North Campus have received funding from the NSF on a project with two long-term goals:
1.) To increase the number of students receiving their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in life sciences.
2.) To increase the diversity of individuals receiving their BS in life sciences.
To achieve these objectives, we are offering the following activities for students enrolled in the Distance Education Microbiology and Cell Science program
a. Tutoring at Miami Dade College
b. Career Mentoring
d. Summer Research Internships
MIamI-Dade Community College North Campus is hosting Science Fair on January 25th from 8:30am-6pm at the science Complex, and the University of Florida Microbiology & Cell Science distance education program will have a booth set up at this fair.
