    Applying as a Non-Degree Student

Non-degree students have a different application from the other programs. If you want to complete a graduate certificate, master's degree, or need to apply for readmission, please follow the instructions for your desired program of study.

    • After selecting the year you wish to attend, choose “(year) Non-degree Application.”
    • Select Non-degree Special Program
    • Select College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the term you intend to enroll in
    • Select Medical Microbiology and Biochemistry Online.
      • DO NOT select Microbiology & Cell Science Web Courses.
    • Although state of residency does not impact the cost of tuition for our program, you must enter your residency information.
    • Select the course by entering MCB as the prefix and 6937 as the course number.
      • For application purposes, please use MCB 6937. Entering other courses may result in errors.
      • Once your application is approved, you will be able to request advisor approval for your preferred courses using our registration form.
    • Add @ufl.edu to your ‘safe list’ on your email account. If you receive any emails from our office or the Office of the University Registrar regarding your application, you must respond.
