Description
This course will help students prepare for the MS program's capstone project, which is to write a literature review in the field of Microbiology and Cell Science. Students must be in their final semester of coursework. This course will enable students to present, discuss, and synthesize recent original articles in the microbiological literature.
Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
1) analyze and critically evaluate recent original research articles in the field of microbiology and cell
science to identify key findings, methodologies, and implications; and
2) demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate the findings and significance of the original research articles in the form of a literature review.
